Mr. Saito vs. Steve Keirn. The toughest matchup yet for Saito’s $5K challenge. Go at it with some amateur wrestling. Keirn gets his sleeper but Saito bails. Go Steve Go chants. Saito Suplex but Keirn is in the ropes. Time limit expires. This was really good and probably my top TV match of 1980. Saito bows then cheap shots Keirn. Kevin Sullivan and Mr. Wrestling II make the save. (Watch)
Fabulous Freebirds interview. The cards and letters are pouring in. Women screaming. They’re gonna be the new Georgia Tag Champs. Good promo. (Watch)

Ole Anderson & Terry Funk interview. They got rid of Lars. Ole thanks Terry. Terry Taylor wants to fight! Funk says he’s too young and can't compete. (Watch)
Ole Anderson & Terry Funk vs. Jerry Roberts & Zane Hickey. Taylor won’t leave. He finally does. A good way to build up a young guy as not backing down. Funk is violent and uses the piledriver. Taylor comes in to help for the DQ. Stan Hansen helps out Taylor to a big pop. (Watch)
Stan Hansen interview. Goes off on Ole and that goof Terry Funk. He can whoop Ole! He knows him. Good promo. (Watch)
Mr. Saito vs. Mr Wrestling II. $5k Challenge. Another top opponent for Saito. Again lots of amateur style wrestling. II’s knee misses and he hurts it. Saito loads his boot and gets the win. Another good match. (Watch)
Fabulous Freebirds interview. They show off gold. Now the National Tag Team Champs instead of just Georgia. The 1980 invasion. Declare themselves the uncrowned World Six Man Champs. Oct. 24 at the Omni they’ll face Sullivan, Atlas, Graham. (Watch)
From Memphis: Jimmy Hart interview. He’s now managing Larry Latham & Bill Irwin. Hart is shoved down by another manager, Danny Davis. Hart freaks out. Very good segment. Billy Robinson vs. Guy Mitchell. Hart is with Guy Mitchell. Guy’s arm is injured but it was just a ploy to attack Robinson. Another good angle. (Watch)
