Austin Idol interview. He hypes himself up. Baron put a bounty on him now. Facing The Angel in Marietta tonight. (Watch)
The Assassins are here looking for Dusty Rhodes but he’s not here. No guts! (Watch)
Terry Taylor vs. Charlie Fulton. Taylor is billed as the Rookie of the Year. Has great armdrags and is an impressive wrestler. Good space to this. Taylor wins and the fans like him. (Watch)
Kevin Sullivan interview. The new Junior champ. He puts over Terry Taylor as a budding young star. Terry joins to set up a title match tomorrow night at The Omni. Mention Dutch Mantell and Eddie Mansfield as other contenders. Terry says he’s worked hard. He sounds very young. (Watch)
Dick Slater interview. The wild man is coming for Lewin in The Omni. The original nut of nuts! (Watch)
The Assassins vs. Jim Nelson and Kevin Sullivan. All we see is Assassins squashing Nelson. Sullivan jumps in to help and gets beat down. Austin Idol makes the save for Sullivan!! Sullivan doesn’t get it. They only tried to kill each other. Idol admits his dastardly past. So has Sullivan. He’s not apologizing. Idol does regret breaking his brother’s leg and wants to make it right. Very good segment! Very interesting given how intense Idol and Sullivan’s feud was. The progression of Idol as a babyface has been great. (Watch)
The Assassins attack Mike Davis. DUSTY IS HERE! He’s bloodied and trying to fight back but gets beat down. The faces clear out to help. Dusty swinging at everyone. Really good! An angry Dusty Rhodes cuts a promo. He’s got somethin’ for them! Heated feud! Dusty’s able to drop in and light a feud up in an instant. Magical wrestler. (Watch)
Dusty Rhodes interview. He returns all bandaged up. About a year ago in a parking lot, two evil men jumped on him. This is going nationwide. People told him who he should tag with and he wants him out here right now. Dusty’s offering up his innocence and will pay him back in scorn. It’s OLE ANDERSON!!! Shake on it. Ole is fired up. He never thought they’d be partners. The first time ever at The Omni. Coming to kick some butt! Huge development! (Watch)
Austin Idol interview. He brings in Stan Hansen to face Baron!! Wow. Awesome choice. Idol has some great lines. Hansen says Baron can’t hurt his big head with the claw. Another hot angle. (Watch)
National TV Champ Tommy Rich vs. Bob Sweetan. Exciting little match that Rich wins. He’s been a fighting champion. (Watch)
This was a GREAT SHOW with some huge angles.

Austin Idol sitdown interview with Frankie Miller. Talk about his new attitude. Overcoming his obstacles. Idol feels like a huge star. A band wrote a tune about the Universal Heartthrob and performed it in studio. This is amazing. Idolmania is the hottest thing in wrestling. Too hot to handle. He feels like he should be the NWA Worlds Champion. In the first six months he’s been a red hot heel and a super charismatic babyface. (Watch)
Stan Hansen and Austin Idol interview. Hansen says it’s good to be back. He comes off like such a gentleman here. It’s a bit jarring! (Watch)
Terry Taylor interview. He’s suited up and coming after the Junior Heavyweight Title. (Watch)
Big Red interview. He can handle Bruiser Bob Sweetan. (Watch)

Sat. Jun. 28 Georgia Championship Wrestling
Terry Taylor vs. Mike Davis. A showcase for Terry as a strong technician. (Watch)
Austin Idol interview. Kevin Sullivan came to his aid at The Omni. They’re working through their bad blood. Idol owed him and Kevin owed him back. They’re even now. Solie shows The Omni incident. Georgia Championship Wrestling says it’s not suitable for TV and the Board has ordered they team up one time at The Omni on July 6th against Mark Lewin and Abdullah the Butcher. Idol wants Sullivan’s word that he’ll stick by him and Sullivan gives it to him. More really good stuff here with Idol and Sullivan. They use their history to create a lot of intrigue. (Watch)
TV Title Tommy Rich vs. Dennis Condrey. Good competitive title match. Dutch Mantell tries to help Condrey but Tommy Rich wins anyway. Rich is giving up the TV Title to focus on the World Title and a tournament will be held to crown a new champion. (Watch)
Tommy Rich interview. He thanks the people for sticking with him. He’s going after the World Title again. The crowd chants for him. (Watch)
Dusty Rhodes promo. Ole was there for him so he’s fine for now. Great look for Big Dust. He claims to be the original. The baddest around. Double Bull Rope Match versus Assassins at The Omni. Strong promo. (Watch)
Mark Lewin vs. Austin Idol. Big match. Lewin gets the jump but Idol fires back. Very believable action. Idol goes for the Leglock but Mephisto is in quick for a DQ. Lewin gets the dreaded sleeper on and Idol starts foaming at the mouth. His leg is witching. Great sell. The faces finally make the save but there’s no Sullivan. Idol has to be helped out. (Watch)
Later on, Idol goes after Lewin but gets doubled teamed by Abdullah the Butcher. This time Kevin Sullivan helps clear the ring. Hot feud! (Watch)
Terry Taylor interview. He’s pleased to be here. A humble babyface. Now eyeing the vacant TV Title. (Watch)
Austin Idol & Kevin Sullivan interview. They’re gonna get the job done. Idol puts over the sleeper. Idol is the devil. Money promo. (Watch)
